MANILA, Philippines?Cebu is expected to draw the biggest field when the 32nd National Milo Marathon holds a first-ever four-city elimination race on Aug. 3.

National Milo race organizer Rudy Biscocho said about 20,000 runners are joining in Cebu alone on the day races will also be held in the National Capital Region, Davao and Tarlac.

About 15,000 runners are expected to compete in NCR while 12,000 each are vying in Davao and Tarlac.

Biscocho said registration will end on July 25, the same deadline for schools vying for the Biggest Delegation Contest and the Inter-School Team Running Competition in the Metro Manila leg.

?All runners, about 60,000 of them, will be flagged off at 6 a.m. in four different areas nationwide,? said Nestlč AVP Pat Goc-ong.

In Metro Manila, runners may register for the 42K qualifying run, 10K side event, 5K fun run and the 3K race for kids at the Vasquez Madrigal Building at No. 51 Annapolis Street in Greenhills, San Juan City.

The elimination race in Davao, Tarlac and Cebu will be disputed in the 21K distance only.

The top three finishers will earn tickets to the Metro Manila grand finals on Nov. 30. There will also be finals races in the 5K and 3K races. Steve Silva, contributor
