GEN. TRIAS, Cavite, Philippines?Ferdie Aunzo scored an abbreviated victory with what was perhaps the biggest lead of his career after heavy rains washed out the final round of the Samsung Amateur Golf Tour yesterday at the Eagle Ridge club.

Aunzo, gearing up for the World Amateurs next week in Adelaide, Australia, held a commanding 10-shot lead overnight in wrapping up the championship division title.

Also declared winners of their respective categories in the series-ending tournament were Ryan Lam in the special championship, Jun Ji-su in Class A, Lee Jae-hyuk in Class B.

Chief organizer Boy Blue Ocampo cancelled play after continuous rains rendered both the Faldo and Norman unplayable.
