GAMES SUNDAY (The Arena, San Juan)
2 p.m.—Lyceum vs UST
4 p.m.—SSC vs Adamson

MANILA, Philippines—San Sebastian looks to complete the semifinal cast of the Shakey’s V-League second conference when it tangles with pacesetter Adamson today at The Arena in San Juan.

The Lady Stags, foiled by University of Santo Tomas Tigresses in five sets Friday night, gun for their fourth win and the last Final Four berth against the streaking Lady Falcons at 4 p.m.

UST, safely through to the next phase, meets Lyceum in the 2 p.m. game, hoping to keep in step with Adamson, which holds a 5-1 record.

The Tigresses have won three straight games, including two tough five-setters against La Salle and San Sebastian, but UST coach Cesael Delos Santos refused to get carried away by his team’s run of impressive results lately.

“I just want the team to be consistent,” said Delos Santos, who is hoping to get better games from setter Denise Tan.

With a 2-4 card, the Lady Pirates still have a slim chance of gaining a playoff for the last semis spot together with FEU although the two teams must hope that San Sebastian loses its last two games, including one against St. Benilde on Tuesday.

The Lady Stags are expected to have Jinni Mondejar back after their top blocker limped out in the first set against UST because of cramps.

Meanwhile, the UST-Lyceum game will be telecast on NBN-4 starting at 2 p.m. on Monday with replays to be shown on both Viva Prime Channel on Destiny Cable and Makisig Channel on Sky Cable. The Adamson-SSC duel will be aired on Tuesday.
