MANILA, Philippines? The Coach E Basketball School opens its 2009 calendar on Jan. 20 at the San Beda College Alabang.

Boasting an instructor-to-student ratio of 1:5, the scientific basketball training for kids will also hold clinics at The Zone Makati (Jan. 21 to March 14), Xavier School in San Juan City (Jan. 22 to March 14) and Clubsixfifty in Libis, Quezon City (Jan. 23 to March 14).

Coach E Basketball School has three modules that are halved into training sessions focusing on fundamentals and shot training.

Coach E, founded by champion PBA coach Eric Altamirano in 2004, has likewise inked a deal with Hi-Smart Vitamins of New Marketlink Pharmaceutical Corp. as long-term partners.

Xavy Nunag, president of the International Basketball Academy and one of Coach E?s trainers, lauded Coach E?s partnership with Hi-Smart.

?We?re glad that Hi-Smart is now our long-term partner,? said Nunag. ?They believe in our program which not only teaches basketball the smart way, but inculcates important values as well.?
