Morales inks w/ Canadian promoter

COMEBACKING Ciso ?Kid Terrible? Morales has signed up with Allan Tremblay's Orion Sports Management in a surprise development for the young undefeated Filipino prospect. This was revealed yesterday in a press release sent by the office of Morales' Filipino promoter Sammy Gello-ani.

Morales (13-0, 8 KO's) is slated to return to the gym next week in Baguio City along with newly-crowned WBO superfly champion Marvelous Marvin Sonsona.

According to Sonsona's trainer Jhun Agrabio, Team Sonsona has tapped Morales as a sparmate, along with compatriots Jonel Alivio, Rey Migrino and Anthony Esmedina.

Morales will return toring action in the huge Nov. 21 event at the Casino Rama headlined by Sonsona's first world title defense against Alejandro Hernandez.

The unbeaten Morales will replace another Filipino fighter Jundy Maraon who was originally slated for the card.

Also appearing in the Nov. 21 card will be fan favorite Greg ? The Steel Pole? Kielsa, (10-0, 5 KO?s) the reigning Canadian Heavyweight Champion, making his debut under new trainer, Egerton Marcus. And to round out a stacked undercard, both Justin ?The Matrix? Fountain (6-1-2, 2 KO?s), hot prospect, Felix ?El Destino? Mercedes (3-0, 2KO?s) will be returning in action-packed fights. /Correspondent Salven Lagumbay
