Pucay fires 69 in Johor Open

JOHOR BAHRU, MALAYSIA? MARS PUCAY SHOT A 3-UNDER-PAR 69 to lead a promising Filipino campaign in the rain-interrupted Iskandar Johor Open Thursday.

The 39-year-old Pucay was in a big group that included defending champion Retief Goosen and trailed three leaders by one shot.

Juvic Pagunsan, Gene Bondoc and top qualifier Michael Bibat had 70s, Rey Pagunsan matched par 72 and Angelo Que carded a 73.
