ANTIPOLO? Jimmy Alapag scored 10 points in a blistering 20-0 fourth-quarter run Friday night as Talk ?N Text hacked out a 93-90 victory over Barako Bull in the KFC Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center here.

The Tropang Texters rallied from 15 points before improving to 4-2 with Alapag leading all scorers with 25 points highlighted by five triples in 10 attempts.

The Energy Boosters, who held an 82-67 lead after an Alex Crisano triple with 8:54 to play, dropped to 2-4.

The Texters were playing their third game in the last seven days and looked winded early on, lapsing into a maze of errors.

Alapag finally gave the Texters the lead with a second straight trey for 83-82 before Mac Cardona added five points for 88-82.

Gilbert Lao responded for Barako Bull but Jared Dillinger, countered with three free throws in the next two Talk ?N Text possessions for 91-86.

After Cardona missed two free throws with 1.3 to play, Aris Dimaunahan?s desperation try from 75 feet hit nothing as time expired.
In a no-bearing game earlier, Sta. Lucia survived guest team Smart Gilas, 96-95, after getting 20 points each from Kelly Williams and Gabby Espinas.
