Ex-PBA stars vs Niños today

FOUR-TIME Most Valuable Player Alvin Patrimonio and a host of former stars in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) will be testing the mettle of the former Liga national champions M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala-Cebu Niños in an exhibition match today at the Cebu Coliseum.

The match-up is slated to kick off at 6:30 p.m. with Patrimonio joining forces with another former PBA MVP, Vergel Meneses, who was just recently named as the head coach of the Jose Rizal University (JRU) Heavy Bombers.

They will be joined by Jerry Codiñera, Bong Hawkins, Rey Evangelista, Victor Pablo, Joey Santamaria, Ronnie Magsanoc, and Cebu?s Al Solis and Elmer Cabahug.

The Niños of head coach Raul ?Yayoy? Alcoseba are currently the top-seed of the Liga Pilipinas Conference 3 heading into the ?Super Leg,? which will be held in Cebu later this month.

A press conference will be held this afternoon at the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel in Lahug.

Ticket prices are pegged at P600 (ringside), P500 (stage), 350 (lower box), 200 (upper box), 50 (general admission.)
