THE PHILIPPINE PATRIOTS go for a fresh start against the Kuala Lumpur Dragons Saturday, a week after playing their worst game in the Asean Basketball League.
?It?s better that it happened now than later in the season,? said Patriots coach Louie Alas.
The Patriots, coming off a humiliating 95-70 drubbing versus the Brunei Barracudas, aim to rebound against the Dragons at 4 p.m. at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Alas said the return of the shot-blocking Nonoy Baclao, who missed the team?s last outing due to his commitments with the Ateneo Blue Eagles, may just stir the Patriots? vaunted defensive game.
The Patriots remained solo on top with a 7-2 record.
