300 shuttlers vie in Healthway tilt

WEEKEND WARRIORS compete for a cause starting this month in the "Serve for Health 3" Healthway badminton tournament.

Some 300 participants are expected to see action in the men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles events that will culminate in the championship round on Nov. 21 at the activity area of Festival Supermall, Alabang.

"We had 250 entries last year and we're hoping to top that; 300 is a modest approximation," said Diana Mangiduyos, Healthway PR specialist.

Leveling of players is on Aug. 15, 22 and 29 and Sept. 5 and 12, followed by the elimination round on Nov. 7 at The Zone on Malugay Street, Makati City.
