Niños stretch streak to 29, rule 6th leg

ML KWARTA Padala-Cebu captured its second crown after downing Misamis Oriental, 78-70, in the sixth leg of the Tournament of the Philippines Friday in its homecourt at the New Cebu Coliseum.

Bruce Dacia knocked in 23 points to power the Niños to a remarkable 29-game winning streak, including 21 in last year?s Liga Pilipinas.

The Niños, who also swept the inaugural leg, earned 15 points to grab the overall lead with 30 in the tournament jointly organized by the PBL and Liga Pilipinas.
