All set for Rapid Fire-Binukbokay

ALL IS SET for the Rapid Fire-Binukbokay of DTT promotions in Talisay City this Saturday.

Before the boxing action, the official weigh-in and the final press conference will be held Friday at the Red Moon Cafe in Gaisano Fiesta Mall Tabunok.



The weigh-in will be supervised by representatives from the Games and Amusement Board (GAB).

The newly founded DTT events and promotions is scheduled to feature seven professional fights and 12 amateur bouts.

The main event will be the showdown between Jason Canoy of the Omega Stable from Mandaue City against the visiting Ruther Del Castillo from the Ringside stables of Manila in the 108-lb. division.

Canoy has an untouched record of eight wins with six knockouts while Del Castillo has a record of 12-3 (win-loss) with 5 KOs. Talisay's Andy Clever Senerez (5-2-3KOs) of the Yanie Santa Cruz Stable will have a six-round showdown against Jerpaul Valero (4-1-2KOs) of Phil-Aust Stable of Mandaue City.

Mandaue and Talisay's best boxers will fight in the preliminary bouts. CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
