RCTV/Bright Academy succesfully defended its tile as it beat Team Vudu, 3-1, in the 3rd Inter-Corporate Futsal Indoor Tournament Finals Saturday at the indoor football arena of the Don Bosco Technical Institute.

The defending champions had to overcome a rough start to win the crown.

They struggled in the elimination matches but managed to put up a strong perfromance when needed most. They defeated a Vudu squad that swept the eliminations.

RCTV/Bright Academy also had to survive a scary semifinal match against Team N.C.R that was decided via a shootout.

Vudu, meanwhile, used its veteran lineup advantage to nip Convergys in the other semifinal match, 4-0.

Meanwhile, Aegis People Support whipped Accenture in the women's open, 5-0, to also defended their title.

Other teams that joined in the Men's division were Lexmark Ayala, Sykes, Accenture, People Support, N.C.R, Lexmark M.E.Z, Don Bosco Alumni and Convergys. The other women's team was the San Roque Football Club (SRFC).
