FORMER SOUTHEAST ASIAN GAMES wushu gold medalist Eduardo Folayang puts his unbeaten mixed martial arts record on the line against Guam’s AJ Aguon in the main event of the Colt 45 URCC XIV this Saturday at the A.Venue Events Hall in Makati.

The 24-year-old Folayang, also a silver medalist in the 2006 Doha Asian Games, hopes to follow up his quick demolition of Saipan’s Jerome Norita against the 22-year-old Aguon, who is noted for his submission moves.

“Folayang has beaten almost every fighter in the Philippines and I think it’s time he battles more international fighters,” said URCC chief Alvin Aguilar at the PSA Forum at Shakey’s UN Avenue, Manila.

“I prepared hard for the fight against Aguon,” said the Baguio-based Folayang.

The Folayang-Aguon bout will be one of 10 fights scheduled for the night.
