MANILA, Philippines - Wushu specialist Roy ?The Punisher'' Docyogen dominated Alvin Ramirez with an assortment of leg kicks and takedowns to keep the pinweight title Saturday in the Colt 45-Universal Reality Combat Championship XV ?Onslaught'' at the World Trade Center.

The Lakay Wushu fighter unleashed vicious shots to the body and never wavered against Ramirez to earn the nod of the judges in a unanimous decision that stretched Docyogen's win streak to seven.

Lakay Wushu's Mark Sangiao and former light-heavy king Caloy Baduria, however, weren't as lucky against their foreign opponents.

Justin Cruz of Guam easily disposed Sangiao to retain the bantamweight crown while Baduria dropped his middleweight bid against reigning champion Zhang Tie Quan of China.

Combining speed and power, Cruz, 24, pulled off a standing guillotine in the first round that forced the referee to wave Sangiao out in the scheduled 10-fight mixed martial arts affair backed by Solar Sports, CS9, 99.5 RT, NU107, Getzmo? And Pinoy Exchange.

Wrestling champion Marcus Valda was also impressive after seizing the heavyweight crown from Vicente Pajaro.

The two-time Southeast Asian Games gold medalist punished Pajaro with heavy blows to the head and body, prompting the referee to stop the fight. Pajaro's corner threw in the towel and was almost carried out of the ring.

The highlight of the night was delivered by Sabah Fadai, who released a wicked left kick that knocked down Arie Zarco like a log two minutes and 39 seconds in the first round.

In the other supporting bouts, Japanese Hideo Morikawa scored an armbar submission over Ramonito Pabroa, Jilmar Tangayan posted a referee-stopped contest (RSC) over Mags Gonzalez and Eric Kelly subdued Lando Espinosa.
