MANILA, Philippines?Automobile Association of the Philippines motorsports director Mandy Eduque takes the honor of flagging off the 2010 Magnolia Purewater Karting Super Series Saturday as guest of honor at the Carmona Race Track in Cavite.

Eduque will keynote the opening ceremony at 11 a.m. together with race organizer Johnny Tan before some 60 karters open their bids for division titles in the races.

Singapore-based Christian Villeneuve is the lone foreign competitor in the kickoff leg of the series sponsored by Magnolia Pure Water, San Miguel Corp., Petron Corp., Denso Iridium Power, Motorstar and Aeromed.

Karter of the Year Joey Orduña has moved up to the senior division, one the series? top brackets along with the ROK Overall, Junior, Heavy and Novice, as well as Formula SL Expert, Formula SL Novice, Formula SL Heavy and Mini-ROK. Races in SQ Exhibition and a Baby ROK are also on tap.
