ORGANIZERS of the Rock ‘N’ Run promised a longer and grander race in its second undertaking on Nov. 8, 5:30 a.m. at The Terraces Ayala Center Cebu.
Johnie Lim, president of the Spa and Wellness Association, said in yesterday’s Scoop Forum that from the 10K that they previously held, the race will now be at 12K in men’s and women’s open classes.
“We have also made the race venue more accessible as it will now be held within the Ayala Malls vicinity,” Lim added.
The first Rock ‘N’ Run was held at the Cebu International Convention Center at the North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City.
Other categories of the run are the 5K and the 3K, also in men’s and women’s open classes.
First placers in the 12K for both classes will get P7,000 while the second and third finishers will receive P5,000 and P3,000, respectively. The fourth and fifth finishers will bag 1,000 and P700, respectively, while the sixth to the tenth placers will go home with P500 each.
The 5K and 3K winners will likewise receive cash.
