SOME 500 runners will answer the starting gun for today's Sesqui Blue Run of the Ateneo Graduate School of Business (ASGB) Cebu at the Cebu Business Park.

Leading the list of participants is the multi-titled Noynoy Jopson together with his wife, Amale Mendezona, and some runners tuning up for the Cebu Marathon.

The fund raising run is headed by organizers Rey Daluz, Cielo Ty, Louie Villacin, Pie Arelo, Joy Polloso, Waynon Florido, Ralph tio, Mat Poonin, Mac Gordon, Tim Tio, Carlo Claro, and Ron Uy.

The running event is co-presented by Cebu Daily News, Flame it Burger and the Ayala Center Cebu.

The fun run will start at 5 a.m. at the Biliran Road of the Cebu Business Park.

The running event will have the 3k, 5k and the 16k categories. Registration fee is P250 inclusive of race jersey and singlet.

The fun run also has an outreach programs in line with the 150th anniversary celebration of the Ateneo and Jesuit Organization of the Philippines.

The KAKASAKA Center for Chilren in Toledo will be the beneficiaries for the race. The organizers will also have a Mangrove Tree planting next year.

The winning runners will receive cash prizes, medals and gift items. The top 10 runners will also receive medals.

Major sponsors are CBP, Globe Telecom, Metro Grafix while minor sponsors are Nature Spring Water, Havaianas and TKC Heavy Equipment.
