ST. BENILDE SEEKS PAYBACK against San Sebastian when they collide Friday in the Shakey’s V-League Season 6 second conference at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Beaten by the Lady Stags last Sunday in the NCAA title match, the Lady Blazers try to gain some measure of revenge in the 4 p.m. showdown, which comes after the Far Eastern and Ateneo-Oracare clash at 2 o’clock.

The Lady Stags, missing five players who played crucial roles in their title run last year, struggled to beat University of the Philippines in four sets Tuesday night, prompting coach Roger Gorayeb to lower his target for San Sebastian.

“With our lineup, it will be difficult for us even to reach the quarterfinals,” said Gorayeb, who steered the Lady Stags to the title last year with a roster led by RP team ace Suzanne Roces. Cedelf P. Tupas
