FORMER SOUTHeast Asian Games silver medalist Frederick Feliciano and Eusebio Quiñones are among the fancied bets in the elite cross country race highlighting the two-day Nuvali Outdoor Adventure Dirt Weekend unfolding October 10 at Nuvali in Laguna.

The elite cross-country event, which covers a rolling, tree-lined terrain of 40 km, is one of 15 competitions lined up for the two-day festival, which will also feature a bike expo, bike-building and a bike stunt show.

Also on tap are cross country races in the youth (15 to 19 years old), sports (20 to 29), executive (30 to 39), masters (40 year old), women?s (open) beginners and kids divisions.

The four-cross events include open/elite, intermediate, masters, women?s, beginners and kids.

The dirt weekend is part of our effort to promote a healthier lifestyle that takes advantage of the natural features of Nuvali,? Nuvali general manager Jun Bisnar said at the PSA Forum on Tuesday.
