Turalba lone Pinoy hope in Thailand

Philippine Daily Inquirer

JUHA TURALBA will vie for the country’s lone major award as the 2009 Asian Karting Open Championship stages its final round Sunday at the S.C. Motorsport Circuit in Saraburi, Thailand.

Turalba’s Ready2Race teammate Joey Orduna stands to lose his title defense following his disappointing stint in Macau where he slipped to fourth place with 68 points in the Formula 125 Open Junior.

Roby Benito, although in second place with 75 points, is also in for a tough time as he is just a point ahead of Malaysian Rahul Raj Mayer.
