THE JUNIOR GOLF FOUNDATION OF the Philippines is staging the Amalia Montecillo Memorial Tournament on Monday, Nov. 30, at the Splendido Taal Golf and Country Club.

The 18-hole tourney commemorating the first death anniversary of the Jungolf founder is expected to draw participation from the present crop of players as well as the alumni.

Jungolf president Luigi Tabuena said that they hope to come up with an annual competition to honor the pioneering efforts of Montecillo, whose long jungolf advocacy led to the rise of the country as a world jungolf power.
