Gilas Pilipinas tumbled to its third straight loss in the Fiba World Cup after flubbing several golden chances to turn it around in a wild and wholly game against Argentina.

Gilas Pilipinas falls short versus 3rd-ranked Argentina

It was a valiant effort but it just would not cut in. Looking for a probable upset, Gilas Pilipinas fell short against Argentina, 85-81, during their group stage matchup at the 2014 Fiba World Cup in Sevilla, Spain, Tuesday early morning (Manila time).
