The Brooklyn Nets parted company with coach P.J. Carlesimo on Sunday, less than 24 hours after injury-depleted Chicago ousted the Nets from the NBA playoffs with a first-round game-seven victory in Brooklyn.

Noah, Boozer lead Bulls past Nets 96-85

Joakim Noah had 21 points and 10 rebounds, Carlos Boozer scored 20 points and the Chicago Bulls beat the Brooklyn Nets 96-85 on Saturday.

The Bulls went on a 19-0 run that started in the second quarter and stretched into third, giving them an 18-point lead. They opened March on a winning note after going 5-8 in February, just their second losing month in 2 1/2 seasons under coach Tom Thibodeau.

Joe Johnson hit a tying 3-pointer in the closing seconds of the fourth quarter and hit a buzzer-beating jump shot at the end of overtime to lift the Brooklyn Nets to a 113-111 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.
