Wizards beat Bulls in OT to take 2-0 series lead

Washington took a 2-0 lead over Chicago in their NBA first-round playoff series with a topsy-turvy 101-99 overtime win on Tuesday, while Toronto and Indiana both posted the victories they needed to square their respective series.

Indiana’s heavy offseason investment in squad development paid off Wednesday when Luis Scola, Donald Sloan and Lance Stephenson combined for all 12 points in a decisive fourth-quarter run, sending the still unbeaten Pacers past division rival Chicago 97-80 and to its best start since 1971-72.

Carlos Boozer had 13 points and 12 rebounds, Joakim Noah played his way through a foot injury to make three fourth-quarter baskets as the Chicago Bulls beat the Brooklyn Nets 90-82 on Monday to level their first-round series at one game each.
