Korver has 27 as Hawks top Celtics 123-111 in 2 OT

Kyle Korver scored 27 points and the Atlanta Hawks overcame a 27-point deficit in the first half to beat Boston 123-111 in double-overtime on Friday night, handing the Celtics their sixth straight loss.

The Atlanta Hawks suspended top-scorer Josh Smith for Wednesday night’s home game against the Brooklyn Nets for “conduct detrimental to the team” following an incident in practice the previous day.

Devin Harris scored 20 points, Josh Smith added 18 and the surging Atlanta Hawks beat Charlotte 113-90 on Thursday night to hand the Bobcats their 10th straight defeat.
