Judge: No auction yet of Kobe Bryant’s stuff

A U.S. federal judge has ruled an auction house cannot sell, destroy or otherwise dispose of Kobe Bryant memorabilia offered by the NBA star’s mother while courts sort out where the case should be decided.

Kobe passes Wilt for 4th on NBA scoring list

Kobe Bryant has passed fellow Los Angeles Lakers great Wilt Chamberlain for fourth place on the NBA’s career scoring list.

Bryant made a pull-up jumper from the free throw line with 7:54 remaining in the second quarter to eclipse Chamberlain’s mark of 31,419 points. He tied Chamberlain 22 seconds earlier with a layup.

Lakers’ Bryant has bone spur in left foot

Kobe Bryant has a bone spur in his left foot. Following Los Angeles’ 113-103 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night, the Lakers revealed the injury. He left the arena using one crutch, but appeared to be walking without pain.

Bryant, Lakers roar back against Hornets, 108-102

Kobe Bryant’s clutch scoring saved the Lakers from what could have been an embarrassing loss in a game they needed to win. Bryant scored 13 of his 42 points during a 20-0 run in the last 6:22 of the fourth quarter, and Los Angeles overcame a 25-point deficit to fend off the New Orleans Hornets, 108-102 on Wednesday night.
