National Capital Region all but wrapped up yet another Palarong Pambansa overall championship yesterday with its swimming wonder girls Catherine Bondad and Regina Erin Castrillo each pulling off electrifying seven-of-seven gold medal finishes like Central Luzon’s Rafael Barreto at the San Lorenzo Teves Aquatics Center here.

NCR runaway Palaro overall champs again

Imposing itself in most sports with its vast reserve of talents, National Capital Region once again emerged overall champion over Western Visayas and Calabarzon at the close of the 2012 Palarong Pambansa at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center here yesterday.
