Superal slips ahead with 72

Wolen Superal, out of the limelight for a long time after a career-threatening hip injury, upstaged the big guns in a late flight yesterday, shooting an even-par 72 to grab a one-shot lead after the first round of the MVP Sports Foundation-Philippine Amateur Open championship.

Del Monte ends S’woods’ Luzvimin reign
