TIM Cone knows what he’s about to face. “In order to be the best, you have to beat the best,” Cone said yesterday as he gears up his B-Meg Llamados for their best-of-seven title playoffs opposite defending PBA Commissioner’s Cup champion Talk ‘N Text starting Monday.
Their career paths have crisscrossed at so many points that one of these days, it will be tough to think of one without the other. Chot Reyes started out his coaching career under Tim Cone. But their eventual separation even strengthened their links.
