MANILA, Philippines--- The University of Santo Tomas Tiger Cubs and Letran Squires survived their respective semifinal opponents to forge a finals showdown in the junior division of the Nike Summer League.

Kyle Drexter Neypes poured in 22 points and Molline Gonzalez added 15 points to lead UST to a 81-66 victory over the Jose Rizal University Light Bombers.

In the other semis pairing, Letran eked out an 83-81 overtime win against a tough De La Salle Zobel team.

Archie Inigo led the Squires with 31 points. Luigi Dela Paz scattered 32 points for the Archers but his efforts went unrewarded as the Archers succumbed in the endgame.

The UST-Letran final game is scheduled June 10 Wednesday at the FEU gym in Morayta.
