UST, UE Futures fives unscathed

UNIVERSITY OF SANTO TOMAS AND UNIversity of the East stayed unbeaten in the junior boys? division of the Futures Basketball League over the weekend at the San Beda-Alabang covered courts.

The Tiger Cubs, the runner-up to Letran last year, won by forfeiture over San Sebastian for their third straight win, while the Junior Warriors crushed St. Mary?s, 106-42, to rise to 2-0.

In other games, Adamson overwhelmed Colegio de San Agustin, 68-39; San Beda-Alabang stopped Golden Sunbeam, 90?39; and Don Bosco Technical College outlasted Holy Trinity Academy, 59-58, in overtime.

In the girls? division, San Beda also scored its second win at the expense of OB Montessori, 87-10, even as Misa won by walkover against Assumption and St. Scholastia?s West-Grove toppled Harris, 56-26.
