“Thank you so much Daegu Kogas Pegasus for the trust and another two seasons to play for the team,” wrote the Ateneo product.

“The past season was full of learnings and realizations on and off the court that I can really say that I have grown so much, not just by mastering my craft as an athlete but also to be a better and disciplined individual.”

Currently, Belangel is playing a crucial role for Daegu with averages of 12.6 points, 3.8 assists, 1.8 rebounds and close to a steal (0.9) per game.

In Daegu’s most recent outing, the Pegasus faltered to the Wonju DB Promy, 82-73, with another Filipino shining through after the match.

Belangel finished with six points and eight assists.

On the other end, though, Ethan Alvano, who was the first non-Korean ever to win the league’s Domestic MVP, balled out with 18 points and three assists.
