MANILA, Philippines—Team Philippines’ Carlos Yulo savored his gold medal in the Paris Olympics 2024 men’s artistic gymnastics floor exercises with someone dear to him.

Chloe Anjeleigh San Jose, Yulo’s girlfriend, posted a fun interaction between her and the Philippines’ first Olympic gymnastics gold medalist following the “Uy, Philippines!” trend.

“We did it all in God’s name!” wrote San Jose with a gold medal emoji to match.

San Jose has been highly supportive of Yulo, serving as his number one fan in the stands.

Saturday at Bercy Arena was no different as San Jose was in attendance to watch Yulo’s crowning moment as Team Philippines’ first gold medalist in the Paris Games.

More than just a partner, San Jose also served as Yulo’s best friend in Paris, even posting how Yulo spends a day in Paris en route to his historic performance.

Yulo gets a crack at finishing with double medals later this evening when he competes in vault.
