GREEN Archers United moved further out of relegation trouble following a 5-1 thumping of Army Saturday night in the United Football League at Emperador Stadium in Taguig.
Gabe Oloweyeye knocked in two goals to help Archers climb to seventh spot with their second straight victory.
Struggling for most of the season, the Archers have now scored a combined nine goals in their last two matches, keeping them outside the relegation zone.
Chieffy Caligdong scored in the second half to raise his tally to seven, while Elle Cagayanan and Jess Melliza added a goal each.
Adrian Bretana cut the deficit to 1-2 before Cagayanan scored in the 71st minute.
With the loss, Army stayed at the bottom with just four points.
