Bahadoran opened the scoring with a close-range header in the 58th minute after latching unto a cross from Ben Starosta. Global missed striker Izzo El-Habbib due to suspension and struggled to make the most out of its chances.

“We got the three points but we really look a different team without Izzo,” said Global coach Brian Reid.

Stallion missed coach Ernie Nierras, who was on duty with the women’s national team competing in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifying in Bangladesh.
