GLOBAL and Stallion warmed up for their potential title-deciding clash by grinding out narrow victories Thursday night in the United Football League at Emperador Stadium in Taguig City.
National team players Misagh Bahadoran and Jeffrey Christiaens scored in the second half as Global hacked out a 2-0 win over Air Force to stay in pursuit of Stallion.

Bahadoran opened the scoring with a close-range header in the 58th minute after latching unto a cross from Ben Starosta. Global missed striker Izzo El-Habbib due to suspension and struggled to make the most out of its chances.
“We got the three points but we really look a different team without Izzo,” said Global coach Brian Reid.
