MANILA, Philippines — After a poor Game 1 outing, National University responded with a convincing 26-24, 25-23, 25-win to forge a deciding game for the Shakey’s V-League Season 10 First Conference championship at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The Lady Bulldogs banked on their depth with Dindin Santiago, Aiko Urdas, Myla Pablo and Jaja Santiago coming through.
But it wasn’t easy as every set went down-the-wire.
NU looked on its way to an easy third set after leading, 21-12, before Ateneo rallied to within two, 22-24.
Carmina Aganon though, ended the Lady Eagles’ blistering run with a spike.
Game 3 is set next Sunday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
