Another poor Pagunsan start in Japan Tour

Juvic Pagunsan continued to grope for form for the third straight week, carding a 3-over-par 75 to trail leader Daisuke Maruyama of Japan, who fired a 67 for the first-round lead in the Diamond Cup Golf 2013 at Oarai Golf Club in Ibaraki, Japan.  Although ranked No. 8 in earnings after six legs of the Japan Golf Tour, Pagunsan missed the cut in the PGA Championship Nissin Cupnoodles Cup in Chiba, Japan, two weeks ago and failed to contend in the Orchard championship of the ICTSI Tour which Angelo Que won impressively last week.
