San Miguel ousts Thailand, faces Indonesia in ABL finals anew
MANILA, Philippines—San Miguel clinched a title berth anew in the Asean Basketball League (ABL) on Thursday night, showing the door to Sports Rev Thailand in game four, 77-61, of their physical best-of-five semifinals series.
The Beermen arranged a rematch of last season’s finale as defending champion Indonesia first got the ticket to the finale after disposing of Westports Malaysia in the other semis affair.
Paolo Hubalde led the Beermen’s attack on the road in Nimiburt Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, with a game-high 16 points.
