Both teams feature some of the league’s most exciting players led by Olympian James Harden and Taiwanese-American Jeremy Lin of the Rockets and All-Star players Paul George and Roy Hibbert of the Pacers, who are battling defending champion Miami Heat for the NBA Eastern Conference crown.
Aside from the blockbuster game, Singson said fans can still get a chance to see the basketball stars in NBA Cares events and fan activities also scheduled in Manila.
“People who may not be able to watch the games live still have a chance to meet the players or interact with them,” said Singson.
Manila was chosen as one of the stops of the this year’s NBA Global Games, which will also head to Brazil, Spain, England, Taiwan and China and feature six other teams.
