Stallion rips Nomads, stretches UFL lead

Rufo Sanchez returned to his scoring ways, knocking in two goals as Stallion increased its lead over Global at the top to five points with two matches in hand. The Spanish-born striker increased his haul to 18 goals in a banner season.
The win could prove crucial to Stallion as it has one match remaining while Global has three games left, including a tough one against Loyola Meralco tonight.

Nomads actually took the lead in the 14th minute through Phil Connolly, but Stallion fired six unanswered goals to wrap up the match.
