French Open: Rain suspends Sharapova vs Azarenka semi

PARIS — Rain interrupted Thursday’s French Open semi-final between Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka with the match tied at 6-1, 2-6.

The players were sent to the locker room and the covers were drawn over the court at 4:25 pm (1425 GMT) as Sharapova prepared to serve at the start of the deciding set.
