‘Barkadahan’ 7-cock derby champion known today
From a starting field of 380 participants, the champions of the National Barkadahan Cup 7-Cock Derby series will be known today at Pasay City Cockpit.
Thirty-four participants with a perfect 3.0 win-loss record each and 19 with 2.5 points apiece collide in today’s 4-cock finals starting at 1 p.m.
The 110-fight derby has Sagupaan Complexor 3000 as exclusive sponsor.
PCC pit manager Eric dela Rosa said the championship hopefuls are qualifiers from venues like San Juan Coliseum, Pasay Cockpit, Sta. Monica Cockpit in Novaliches), Pasig Square Garden, San Roque Cockpit Arena in Marikina, La Paz Cockpit in Tarlac and Bacolor Cockpit in Pampanga.
A guaranteed prize of no less than P5 million and a trophy await the winners.
The Super Big Fights 7-Cock Invitational Derby comes next on Monday.
Dela Rosa also said the PCC will be the new venue of the annual Birthday Big Event 6-Cock Derby on June 16 hosted by Cagayan Vice Gov. Odie Fausto.
