MANILA—A year of training under the Tuason Racing School (TRS) Racing Career Management Program produced big results for Basti Escalante, who recently bagged the overall Mini-ROK crown recently in the 2010 Magnolia Purewater Karting Super Series at the Carmona Racetrack.
Escalante banked on the lessons learned from the Tuason program to quell the challenge of his rivals in the 15-lap final race and capture his first racing career crown with a total of 459.5 points.
“Basti’s championship feat is also a big success for the TRS Racing Career Management Program and our thrust for Filipino drivers in the pursuit of producing a world-class champion,” said Mike Tuason, the TRS vice president for technical and operations.
