FLYNN Jackes will join a lean Philippine contingent competing against Asia’s bests in the second leg of the 2013 Asian Karting Open Championships starting today at Kartodromo de Coloane Circuit in Macau.
The 10-year-old Jackes, runner-up in the Philippine kickoff last month, will gun for the Asian Mini-ROK plum.
He wound up third overall last year, losing to two Indonesians.
Jackes is coming off a runner-up finish in the Singapore Karting Championship last week, providing him the the needed morale-booster for the Macau race.
“I learned so many things in Singapore and hopefully, these lessons will help improve my performance,” said Jackes.
“Flynn has proven his dedication and developed the character distinct of racing champions,” said Tuason Racing School founder and president JP Tuason.
