PCA Open wooing Huey, Fil-German
Cecil Mamiit won’t be playing but fellow Fil-Am Davis Cupper Treat Huey may see action along with Fil-German Davis Cup aspirant Marc Seiber in the Philippine Columbian Association tennis open championships next month.
RP Davis Cup administrator and tennis association vice president Randy Villanueva yesterday said Huey, who is competing in the Guangzhou Asian Games, had shown interest in joining for the first time the country’s oldest tennis event set Dec. 4 to 12.
“He is inclined to join, but we we’ll get his final decision after the Asiad,” said Villanueva.
