Sarenas, Kelly seek URCC crowns tonight

MANILA—Rising starts Froilan Sarenas and Eric Kelly seek Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) titles tonight when they clash with different foes in the URCC-Colt 45 XVIII at the A. Venue Events Hall in Makati. Seeking to follow up his impressive victory over Iranian Razzi Jabbari in July, Sarenas of Submission Sports Philippines battles Jerry Legaspi of Sprawl for the middleweight title. Kelly of Yaw Yan Ardigma faces Nate Flores of Saipan’s Predator Combat/Konflikt for the featherweight title in the event presented by Colt 45 and Tribal Gear. “All fights are going to be a close call, nobody holds a clear advantage,” said URCC founder Alvin Aguilar. The Sarenas-Legaspi clash was elevated into a title fight after Chinese Zhang Tiequan signed up with US promotion WEC.  The fight card’s eight other bouts:
