South Star Drug races fire off firm’s 76th year tomorrow

THE 4TH Run for Wellness in Naga City will mark South Star Drug’s 76th anniversary, featuring races in 3K, 5K, 10K and 21K distances.

The race will fire off tomorrow  at Plaza Quezon and will pass by most of South Star’s branches in the city, where the drugstore started.

South Star has more than 220 stores and belongs to the top 1,000 corporations in the Philippines.

“As this is a celebration of our anniversary, we will make sure that it will be a day of fun and wellness,” said Aris Palabrica of South Star’s marketing department.

There will be one male and female winner for each distance while a special category has been created for foreign participants.  Games and prizes are also expected at   the finishers’ area, also in Plaza Quezon.

Interested participants may register at any of South Star’s five designated branches: Crown Hotel at E. Angeles and P. Burgos Sts. and Panganiban Drive in Tinago, both in Naga City; Elevated Plaza, Vinzons, Ave.,  Daet; Alfelor St. cor. Rotary Rd., Iriga; and Rizal St. in Legazpi City.
