Pricier tickets for FIBA Asia knockout phase go on sale

MANILA, Philippines — Tickets for the knockout phase of the 27th FIBA Asia championships start selling on Wednesday, but be ready for significant increase in prices.

From P1,500 during the preliminaries, Patron A seats are now pegged at P2,300 for the quarterfinal round, P2,800 for the semifinals and P3,300 for the finals at the Mall of Asia Arena.

For Patron B, tickets are at P2,000 for the quarters, P2,500 for the semis and P3,000 for the finals from P1,200 in the first six days of competition.

Those who want to watch from the VIP section, they have to shell out P3,800 for the quarters, P4,500 for the semis and P5,300 for the finals.

Prices start at P1,500, P2,000, and P2,500 for the Lower A section, while P1,000, P1,500, and P2,000 for Lower B.
Tickets for the upper section stay at P300 for the playoffs and the final four, but are priced at P350 for the championship game.

For the general admission section at MOA Arena, meanwhile, tickets are sold P150 for the rest of the tournament.

The quarterfinal phase begins on Friday with the schedule of games and official pairings yet to be announced.
