MANILA, Philippines — Korea gave India a sound beating, 95-54, in Group F to conclude the second phase of the 27th FIBA Asia men’s Championship late Wednesday night at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Korea heads into the quarterfinals as the second seed in Group F with a 4-1 record just behind unbeaten Iran.
Guard Kim Mingoo and Cho Sungmin led Korea with 14 points apiece.
The Koreans will face the Qataris, no. 3 in Group E, in the crossover knockout phase which starts on Friday.
